Originally from Japan these plants were introduced to Europe in 1788. This shrub with its short woody stems and largish leave boasts a large round impressive flower head.

The name says it all, in reality needing plenty of water this beautifully reproduced specimen is completely maintenance free. This plant is really eye catching and blends in easily with any interior.
